At the start of the O´Daly Street, the house built at the beginning 1900 by the trader Guillermo Cabrera Gutierrez contains a piece of the famous comercial advertisement of Nitrato de Chile, a masterpiece from Art Deco design, created at 1929 by the young architecture student Adolfo López-Durán Lozano.
This product was a fertilizer made of sodium nitrate, very abundant in Chile. This advertisement made with ceramics in a very famous Valencian fabric was strategically ubicated at the beginning of the city, so the carriers, farmers and traders could see it when they come to the city.
