Head southwest on Calle Virgen de La Luz you can find the chappel dedicated to the Dominican San Pedro Gonzalez Telmo and Our Lady of Light stands on the cliffs of La luz like a watchtower, visible from the port of Santa Cruz de La Palma.

As protectors of sailors, both patrons have played a key rule in the religious and devotional hostory of the neighborhood, originally ocuppied by sailors, pilots of the route of the Indies, fishermen and ship owners. The entrance is down the choir, whose façade consists of the door in its semicircular masonry arch, above it a uncovered balustered balcony from wich to ring the bell, and above thet, the belfry.

Among the decorative elements of the exterior, we wish to point out the sgraffitti (the patterns in different colours of plaster), anchors and other maritime elements. The most interesting things inside are the altarpiece and the proccessional platforms. The main altarpiece is an example of Palmarian Baroque, crowned with a clamshell with two rows and three columns of images. The proccessional platform, on which the Dominican saint is carried in proccession on his feast day, is in the shape of ship.
