Opened in the summer of 2010 within the framework of the Bajada de la Virgen lustral festivals, the facilities of the Marina La Palma marina are an initiative created by the Unión Temporal de Empresas de Puerto Calero SA (Lanzarote) and the Real Nuevo Club Nautical of Santa Cruz de La Palma. Marina La Palma is located on the north side of the commercial port of the capital Palma, a city that, since the founding of the New Club in 1904, has a solid tradition in promoting marine sports and leisure.

Marina La Palma is conceived as a fusion space between the service to the boater and a recreational offer of great attraction: 180 moorings (8 m and 18 m), water and electricity supply in the docks, Wi-Fi Internet zone, CCTV, sailor service 24 hours a day, recycling point, gas station, dry dock, forklift and pressure machine to clean ship hulls.
